Creately Gets Featured on Tekpon and Zedek

If you’ve every purchased software on behalf of a company you know it’s not an easy task. You need to gather requirements, create a shortlist of products or services, do the research which sometimes require attending demos.

This is a billion dollar problem which many companies are trying to solve. Tekpon and Zedek are two new entrants in this space and we’re thrilled that we’ve gotten an invite to get listed on both of them.

Tekpon

Tekpon directly addresses this problem. You don’t have to spend time researching for products and negotiating prices. Tekpon does this for you. As a consultant for B2B startups I can assure you that most companies are happy to offer you a discount on the listed price. Especially if it’s a large deal that is north of $50,000/year.

I love what Tekpon is trying to do here, but it’s a brutal niche to be in so it’ll be interesting to see how they progress. Here’s the Creately’s listing on Tekpon.

Zedek

Zedek is a B2B marketplace with a focus on demo videos. Once you claim your product page on Zedek, you’ll need to update the demo video, images, key features, targeted industries, and targeted roles to get more visibility. The founder probably spend too much time on reviews sites and got frustrated by not seeing the actual product 🙂 .

The users have the option of voting for the demo and if you’ve done a good job you can get the “Demo of the Day” award. Personally, I like to see a demo of the product before purchasing and if I have to jump on a call for the demo it better be a critical product I need. Check out Creately’s listing on Zedek.

Both sites could do with a few more categories. For example, we’d rather be listed as a diagramming software instead of a flowcharting tool or a UX design tool. Hopefully they expand the categories in the future.

We wish them well on their journey in solving software buying for companies.
