Diagram Collaboration made Easy

Remember when you all itched for the “Collaboration” feature a year back?

Well, since then, we have launched some major user-friendly updates that make Creately an absolute superlative. As you all know innovation is part of our mantra at Cinergix (yes, we really do Share. Reuse. Innovate.), and this means that our award-winning diagramming app offers you the world minus the hassle.

Alright, alright, we hear you, enough with the marketing spiel, let’s get to the exciting part.

We got three new additions to our feature-rich arsenal that will have your diagramming juices flowing. All you need to do is, (okay wait for it, here it comes) take a glimpse below.

Share, share and then share some more.

Being more user friendly than ever, Creately now identifies its users as Viewers and Editors. While you can share your glitzy diagrams with viewers, you can give permission to editors to make an assortment of changes on the diagrams. Also you can now choose your editors or delete them and invite collaborators via e-mail (or you can save yourself the trouble by simply clicking on the dialog box that allows you to share with the entire team). Moreover, you can enable view and/or edit links (depending on who you want to edit and/or view your diagrams), which opens up your diagrams in a super-versatile Diagram Viewer (if you want to view) or the Creately Editor (if you want to edit). Oh, almost forgot, another small but really useful detail, clicking on the Reset button will make the previous URL invalid.

The Publish sidebar panel strikes out…on its own.

If you recall, previously if you wanted to publish your diagram you needed to tap into the Share panel. However, we really did think that the publishing function needed its own space, which is why it has its own cosy corner, right below the Share panel. So, not only do you get to show your diagrams on Google and an assortment of web pages, you get a chance to get it published across Twitter, Facebook and more recently, LinkedIn.

You edited what!!?

Yup. That’s one question you never need ask, ever again. Once you save, you can let everyone know what changes you made. Ensuring accountability? Check. User friendly and interactive? You know so.

There you have it, three cool additions to your favourite diagramming app that’s sure to add value and convenience in more ways than one. Stay tuned, though. Innovation is something we treasure and that’s what will fuel more exceptional features for Creately in the near future.  Of course, it goes without saying that we’d love to hear from you. So once you’ve played around and had your fill with the new additions, give us a shout and let us know if we really are the best diagramming app, ever! :0)
