Decision Matrix Example

A decision matrix example is a powerful tool used in project management to help compare options and make the best possible decision. It is a structured approach that evaluates multiple criteria and rates them in order of importance. It consists of a table with all decisions mapped against criteria and weighted by effect. The decision maker ranks each criterion according to its importance in relation to the decision and gives each option a score based on that criterion. This allows the decision maker to understand the relative importance of each criterion and see which option will provide the most successful outcome.
