New OSI Model

The OSI Model is a seven-level model that explains the different functions of computing hardware and software components used to create, interact with, and maintain networks. It is used to break down complex network communications into seven layers, each of which has a specific role in the steps that take place to send information. From the physical layer up to the application layer, each layer plays an important role in the transmission of data, leading to reliable, secure and efficient data transfer. By understanding how the OSI Model works, software designers can quickly identify, diagnose and resolve issues within their applications.
