To add swimlanes when you create a flowchart or a process map in Creately’s swimlane diagram maker, simply select the swimlane shape from the library and drag and drop it on to the canvas. If you add it after you have created the flowchart, simply right click on the swimlane shape and select the ‘Send to Back’ option as to bring the diagram on top of the swimlane.
