Johari Window in Psychiatry

In psychiatry, the Johari Window is used as a therapeutic tool to help patients gain self-awareness and uncover unconscious thoughts. The Blind Spot represents behaviors or emotions that others observe but the patient is unaware of, while the Hidden Area includes private thoughts and feelings that the patient may choose to reveal over time. By using this model, psychiatrists can guide patients toward self-discovery, emotional growth, and improved mental well-being.
