I think it’s pretty cool how a video can be such an effective sales technique. It has to follow a specific format, though – you introduce a problem, get their attention, and then fix it. Make sure that they know that you are the one and only solution, and really sell it to them.

I’ve found that videos that are lifeless and without any real personality generally don’t convert – make the customer feel like you actually care and really give them a good pitch. That DollarShaveClub one was fantastic for doing just that – it put me in the right shoes. Great post 😉

I agree with you Nishadha that “funnel[ing] the attention of site visitors to videos that go into detail about their product and service” is a strategy that people don’t understand how to do.
