Registration Instructions
Now that you have installed Creately for FogBugz, you can use the following instructions to purchase your Creately for FogBugz plugin, and upgrade your Creately for FogBugz to support additional users.
Some Quick FAQ's
Where are my diagrams stored?
Your diagrams are stored in your local FogBugz server. They are stored as attachments to Wiki Pages or Cases.
Why do I have to register on Creately to get a license?
Our online system requires a 1 time activation from the fogBugz installation to activate the license. Beyond that there is no communication needed during normal Creately usage inside your fogBugz server.
If you re-install Creately on the server (or do a version update), you'll need to click activate again on the plugin configuration screen.
Instructions to Purchase License
On your FogBugz installation, go to the Admin menu and select Plugins. This will list all the plugins installed on your server. Click on the Configure icon displayed next to the Creately Plugin.
Click on Purchase License, to download your Creately Plugin for FogBugz.
This will display the FogBugz License page. Enter your Name, Email and confirm Password, and click on Purchase License to activate your license. If you already have a Creately account simply login by clicking "Login here".
After completing your purchase you will be provided with a license key (a copy is automatically sent to your inbox as well). Now return to the FogBugz configuration page on your server and enter the Email and Password you used in the previous step, and click on Retrieve Plugin License to get your full license of Creately for FogBugz.
Your plugin is now fully activated and you can manage Creately for FogBugz from your plugin configuration page.
Instructions to Upgrade Purchase License
On your FogBugz installation, go to the Admin menu and select Plugins. This will list all the plugins installed on your server. Click on the Configure icon displayed next to the Creately Plugin.
Click on Purchase Extra Licenses, to upgrade your Creately Plugin for FogBugz.
This will display the FogBugz License page. Since you already have an active license, login using your Creately account only by clicking "Login here". Now, click on Purchase Additional Users to support more users to start using Creately for FogBugz.
Enter the number of extra seats you want to purchase, and proceed to pay via Credit card or Paypal.
After completing your purchase, return to the FogBugz configuration page on your server and just click on Update License Information to add additional users to start using your full license of Creately for FogBugz.
Your Creately for FogBugz Plugin is now upgraded.
Instructions to Extend Maintenance License
On your FogBugz installation, go to the Admin menu and select Plugins. This will list all the plugins installed on your server. Click on the Configure icon displayed next to the Creately Plugin.
Click on Renew Maintenance, to extend the maintenance period of your existing license of your Creately for FogBugz plugin.
This will display the FogBugz License page. Since you already have a license, login using your Creately account only by clicking "Login here". Now, click on Extend Maintenance to extend the maintenance period of your existing license of your Creately for FogBugz plugin.
Simply proceed to pay via Credit card or Paypal if you wish to continue purchasing your maintenance license. This will automatically extend your license for a period of 1 year.
After completing Step No. 4, return to the FogBugz configuration page on your server and just click on Update License Information to validate your information and automatically extend your maintenance license for a period of one year.
