Registration Instructions

Now that you have installed Creately for JIRA, you can use the following instructions to purchase your Creately for JIRA plugin, and upgrade your Creately for JIRA to support additional users.

Where are my diagrams stored?
Your diagrams are stored in your local JIRA server. They are stored as attachments to your JIRA issues.

Why do I have to register on Creately to get a license?
Our online system requires a 1 time activation from the JIRA installation to activate the license. Beyond that there is no communication needed during normal Creately usage inside your JIRA server.

Instructions to Purchase License

1. On your JIRA installation, go to the Administration and select Plugins. This will list the Creately plugin for JIRA installed on your server. Click on Creately for JIRA License under System to purchase your license.

   

2. Click on Purchase License, to purchase your Creately Plugin for JIRA.

   

3. This will display the JIRA License page. Enter your Name, Email and confirm Password, and click on Purchase License to activate your license. If you already have a Creately account simply login by clicking "Login here".

   

4. After completing your purchase you will be provided with a license key (a copy is automatically sent to your inbox as well). Now return to the JIRA configuration page on your server and enter the Email and Password you used in the previous step, and click on Retrieve Plugin License to get your full license of Creately for JIRA.

   

5. Your plugin is now fully activated and you can manage Creately for JIRA from your plugin configuration page.

   

Instructions to Upgrade Purchase License

1. On your JIRA installation, go to the Administration and select Plugins. This will list the Creately plugin for JIRA installed on your server. Click on Creately for JIRA License under System to upgrade your license.

   

2. Click on Purchase Extra Licenses, to upgrade your Creately Plugin for JIRA.

   

3. This will display the JIRA License page. Since you already have an active license, login using your Creately account only by clicking "Login here". Now, click on Purchase Additional Users to support more users to start using Creately for JIRA.

   

4. Choose the number of extra seats you want to purchase, and proceed to pay via Credit card or PayPal.

   

5. After completing your purchase, return to the JIRA configuration page on your server and just click on Update License Information to add additional users to start using your full license of Creately for JIRA.

   

6. Your Creately for JIRA Plugin is now upgraded.

   

Instructions to Extend Maintenance License

1. On your JIRA installation, go to the Administration and select Plugins. This will list the Creately plugin for JIRA installed on your server. Click on Creately for JIRA License under System to extend your maintenance license.

   

2. Click on Renew Maintenance, to extend the maintenance period of your existing license of your Creately for JIRA plugin.

   

3. This will display the JIRA License page. Since you already have a license, login using your Creately account only by clicking "Login here". Now, click on Extend Maintenance to extend the maintenance period of your existing license of your Creately for JIRA plugin.

   

4. Simply proceed to pay via Credit card or PayPal if you wish to continue purchasing your maintenance license. This will automatically extend your license for a period of 1 year.

   

5. After completing Step No. 4, return to the JIRA configuration page on your server and just click on Update License Information to validate your information and automatically extend your maintenance license for a period of one year.

   

6. You Creately for JIRA license is extended for a period of one year.
