Share Projects

Share Projects

Sharing projects with your globally distributed teams or clients is fast and easy with Creately. You can invite an unlimited (Team Plans only) number of Editors to work with you on Creately's Team Projects.

  • In the Document Manager window, select a project you want to share and click on the Share Project button on the right of Creately's Projects page.

  • Share a Project

Note - With Creately Desktop, this Share button will be disabled if you're not connected to the web. So to enable sync, you need to have internet connectivity. Also, make sure you've activated the 'Diagrams Anywhere' feature from the Preferences window.

    Share a Project

  • A Share Projects panel will open up. You'll have to punch in the email addresses of the people you want to share the Project with and click on Add Editors to invite them.

  • Add Editors

Invited Editors will receive an email. If Editors do not have Creately accounts - they can sign up for the Creately Public account for Free to collaborate on your Project.

Still not working.

Now I am able to input collaborators into the box and the program appears to work but the emails are not ending up in my purported collaborators email accounts.

If 10 is the number of collaborators one can add at one time it would make it easier if you said so in the collaborator box.

There was no limit to adding

There was no limit to adding user but there was a limit to the amount of emails you can send at once. The 10 user limit on emailing has been removed now.

Unable to add collaborators

I upgraded to the unlimited collaborators option, added five or six, then tried to add more but it would not let me - the add collaborators button remained dim. I logged out of the project and logged in again and the problem still remained.

Fixed

The Add Editor button (previously Add Collaborator) will be dimmed out until you type in a valid email address separated by commas. If there is a limit the button would say prompt you when clicked. However its possible you ran into a bug that we have since resolved.
