Managing User Preferences

This is unique to Creately Desktop. Managing Preferences can be done through the Preferences window. Learn how to:

Click on the Preferences tab to open the Preferences window.
From the Preferences window, you can enable the Auto save diagrams feature. You can enable this feature by clicking on checkbox, and also state the minutes, so that your diagrams will automatically save every x no. of minutes.
Creately is now available in different languages. You can simply select the desired language by clicking on the drop-down menu. When you re-start the application, the language changes would have taken place.
From the Preferences window, you can also select the Default Libraries you'd like to have opened at startup. Simply select the Libraries from the Available Libraries on the left and click on the arrow to include it under the Selected Libraries.

Edit Basic Preferences

Click on the Preferences tab to open the Preferences window.
Creately Desktop requires a Creately.com account. You can change the associated Creately.com account here. You'll need internet connectivity to perform this action.
Diagrams Anywhere - this is a potent feature of Creately Desktop. You'll have to enable this to have all your diagrams automatically sync’ed into both the online and desktop platforms. However, you can disable synchronization for a selected project or a diagram too.
This displays the License Key. You can remove the installed license by simply clicking on 'Uninstall'. This license can then be used in a different installation of Creately Desktop. To install or uninstall a license you'll need internet connectivity.
