Can I create links between Diagrams in Creately

You can create 2 types of links in Creately diagrams. The first is to make Text entered in Creately into web hyperlinks. The second method, described here is more useful and is great for Sitemaps, Wireframes, Org Charts, or any complex diagram that has relationships to other diagrams.

  • Click on an Object in the Drawing Canvas and click Data & Smarts to open the Right Panel.

  • In the Data & Smarts Panel, you can either type in a URL to a webpage (e.g. http://yahoo.com) or Click Browse to create a link to a Creately diagram.

    • Context Toolbar - Edit text

  • Select a diagram from the dialog and click ok. The object is now linked to this diagram. Mouseover the object to see a blue link icon. Clicking this link will open the linked diagram in a new Tab in Creately.

How to export the links to embed elsewhere?

when I try to link to another diagram and then embed the diagrams in a webpage (e.g. Google site) I expected the link to be active, but it is not. I even tried going into the destination link and clicking on "Enable View Link" and copying that link to the master diagram, but still nothing.

what good are links if we cannot publish them to where our clients need to see them?
