How do I load more Creately Objects?

Creately loads all the Objects and Shapes that you need for the type of diagram you want to draw automatically. However, you can add more objects while working on your diagram in 3 simple steps.

  • Click the "Get More Objects" button, on the bottom left corner of the Creately Application.

  • Load more Creately shape libraries

  • Click to select an Object Library to see a preview of the available shapes in the selected library. Tick the check-boxes to select the libraries you want to load.

  • Click Load. The newly selected libraries will be loaded in Creately. You are now ready to drag and drop any of these shapes onto the diagram canvas.

How do I Search for Images and Icons on Creately?

Besides offering you an array of objects, Creately has created easy access to images from both IconFinder.com and Google Images.

  • If you can’t find what you need in Creately’s object libraries you can also look up for images from Google and IconFinder.com. Just click the magnifier icon on the top left-hand corner near the Search field, which will release a drop-down menu.

  • Search from Creately

  • You'll see Creately Objects will be selected by default, you can then select Google Images and/or IconFinder.com to look up for images. The search services will take some time before results are displayed.

  • Search from Google and IconFinder.com

  • Mouse-over a result object, and you'll see a tooltip will show details about that object (Dimensions, Source, etc.)

  • Tool-tip for images

  • Once you find what you need, simply drag-n-drop any of these images from the left panel or use your arrow keys to scroll through the results and hit ‘Enter’ to insert the selected image into the canvas.

Can I create my own objects and save them?

I'd like to create a bunch of Web browser window objects (the browser window with a blank page and a blank Address bar, etc), and save them for future use as templates. I don't see that I can do that now. Is this somehow possible in Creately and I just haven't figured it out yet?

Thanks,

J

Re: Can I create my own objects and save them?

Same need on my side, I am a bit surprised to see no answer to this very basic question ... :-(
Let us know if there is a way
Thanks,
